Gradient Mesh

Without a doubt this gradient mesh assignment has been my the project I have struggled most with. While watching the tutorials I felt I had a good grasp on the tool and how to use it but when applying it to my own work I realized I was completely wrong. I chose to do an apple because my aunt brought me one from home when she visited a few weeks back and it reminded me of home. The apple had hints of green and red which made my own artwork seem a little abstract when I was really trying to follow realistic color choices. For this reason I chose to leave the entire piece a little abstract. Overall, I feel this piece reflects my struggles with the tool and my total frustration with it!
