I imagined this project being a lot more difficult than the process actually was! I liked exploring the different masking layers and found the process long but rather therapeutic. I did not overall fall in love with my final product. I chose this image of me in my Wonder Woman Halloween costume because I thought it added character to the image. Additionally, I chose the red shade as my main color to tie in this super hero theme. I felt the colors were too harsh looking, but as an artist I prefer softer shades and know that would have been more appealing to the eye. This artwork took me four hours and I enjoyed the process - I felt as if our in-class tutorials helped me overcome more obstacles than any project before!
